Escobar & Castañeda, S.L. began its activity in 2011 as a specialized producer of courgettes and aubergines. We focused our commercial activity on exporting to Europe through two commercial brands: King Courgette and Queen Aubergine.

In 2012, we inaugurated our new facilities in Las Norias and we began to supply some of the main European supermarkets, reaching a turnover of 20M in 2016.

In 2021, the family group established berdeaSAT to separate production from our commercial activity, creating a new company brand better orientated towards sustainability and digitalization.
